The ECO Tower System combines three best-in-class technology solutions to provide unparalleled, comprehensive cooling tower water treatment, that maximizes energy and water savings while reducing or eliminating all chemical treatment.

Descaling: The central feature of the ECO Tower System is the electronic mineral binding system (descaler). Its function is to descale and to passivate the cooling system.

The electronic descaler creates an induced signal that increases the electrical charge of the positive (e.g. calcium carbonate) and negative (e.g. calcium bi-carbonate) ions. Increasing the positive and negative charges cause these molecules to bind together, forming seed crystals which lose their natural tendency to adhere to the walls of the plumbing system and machinery. In addition, these crystallized molecules fall out of suspension, refreshing the water’s capacity to reabsorb calcium carbonate. This renewed capacity enables the water to methodically clean out existing scale formations.

Corrosion protection: The ECO Tower System protects against corrosion. The binding of minerals with no adhesion value passively protects the entire system. The filtration component is carefully designed and custom engineered to maintain a clean tower environment, yet leaves enough mineral content in the water flow to passivate the system.

Microbiological Treatment: The optional Copper/Silver ionization feature addresses microbiology. Studies indicate that Copper/Silver ionization treatment performs as well, or better, than conventional biocide treatment.
